Todd Smith is an entrepreneur and technology builder focused on one problem: helping automotive dealerships turn their data into intelligence. For more than 30 years, Todd has worked inside automotive retail and technology, building systems that help dealers operate more effectively in a digital world.

Today he is the Chief Executive Officer of QoreAI, a company developing the intelligence infrastructure for modern dealerships. The platform organizes dealership data from across DMS, CRM, inventory, website activity, and other systems, transforming fragmented information into operational insights that drive sales, service retention, and better decision-making.

Todd is the author of The Intelligent Dealership, a #1 best-seller in Automotive that explores how artificial intelligence and data will reshape automotive retail. Before founding QoreAI, Todd founded ActivEngage, which became the largest managed live chat provider in the automotive industry. Under his leadership, the company was recognized on the Inc. 500/5000 list for five consecutive years and was named a Red Herring Top 100 Technology Company. Todd exited the business in 2018.

Todd also serves as Managing Director of Kyzor, where he invests in and advises emerging automotive technology companies. Throughout his career he has worked closely with Toyota, Mazda, AutoNation, and General Motors, and he speaks regularly at NADA, Digital Dealer, TADA, and NCM 20 Groups.
